| 1. | Check Measurements. |

| 2. | Remove Screens. |

| 3. | Remove sash from frame: |
| | | a. | Insert handle into
holes drilled in sash. Handle should point towards bottom of window.

| | | b. | Pull gently on the face plate
(on the handle) & turn to one side - two screw holes become visible.
[ see figure 3b-d ]

| | | c. | Insert top screw
and tighten (do not over-tighten).
[ see figure 3b-d ]

| | | d. | Turn handle 90 degrees
and install lower screw.
[ see figure 3b-d ]
|
| | | e. | Return face plate to
original position & turn handle to lock position. |
| | | f. | Tap top hinge pin down,
then pull pin down (Note: pin will not fall out, there is a safety stop). |
| | | g. | Turn handle to
open position and remove sash. |

| 4. | Insert nail flange into outer
slot in frame. Bottom first, then sides, top last.

| 5. | Center window in rough opening,
shim window 3/8" from bottom sill for insulation. Make sure frame is
perfectly square, level, and plumb (failure to do this can cause
problems with the lock system).

| 6. | Fasten frame to building. |
| |
| 7. | Reinstall sash in frame. |
| |
| 8. | Check window in each position (locked, swing & tilt) for adjustments: |
| | | a. | Vertical
Adjustments: On the bottom hinge, a phillips-head screw or a 4mm allen-key bolt will enable you to adjust up or
down (clockwise up).

| | | b. | Lateral
Adjustments: On the top of the sash, a phillips-head set bolt can be located for adjustments
(counterclockwise draws sash toward hinge).

| 9. | Snap drain caps into
the holes found on the bottom of the exterior frame.

| 10. | Lubricate sash
hardware annually. |
